Does Kimon do the painting himself, or does he send a crew?
Kimon does the painting himself. Fresh Space is a sole owner-operator business, so the person who quotes your job is the same person on site doing the work. If a job needs another trade, such as plastering or electrical, he brings in his own trusted contacts rather than hiring painting labour.
What's Kimon's background before he became a painter?
Kimon has spent 40+ years in the painting trade, but he came to it from a graphic design and property background. That combination is why colour and finish selection is one of his strengths, not just something added on top.
Is Fresh Space insured, and does Kimon hold a painting licence?
Victoria does not require a painter to hold a licence, so there is no licence number to quote. What Fresh Space carries is public liability insurance, with documentation available on request. The real assurance is that Kimon does the work himself and stands behind it.
Is Fresh Space a big operation, or a local outfit?
It's a local, owner-operated outfit based in Parkdale. Kimon covers the Bayside, Kingston, Glen Eira and Port Phillip council areas himself, rather than dispatching a crew from across town.
